MAC A Novel Romance Collection: Brace Yourself for Bodice Ripping Beauty
Normally I wouldn't accept struggled to carry the bags of true cat nutrient, but I was wearing 5-inch stiletto heels that day. Non exactly farm-friendly footwear.

"Uh…" I said over again. I was still not completely lucid. I mean, those shoulders, though. They were huge!
"That'south a lot of cat food," he said. "Are you one of those crazy cat ladies?" He winked, and I literally saw a twinkle in his centre.
"If y'all only knew," I said. "Yeah, I come up out here to feed the feral cats a few times a week. Mr. Hargrove likes to keep them around, you know, to catch the rats. Plus they're cute."
"I see," he said. "Practice the cats similar information technology when you wear loftier heels?" He gestured toward my feet.
"Well, no," I said. "But I was planning to go to a MAC store after this considering they take a new collection out. Information technology's virtually romance novels. Yous know, heaving bosoms, long-haired naughty pirates, that kind of affair."
"Naughty pirates?" he asked.
"Obviously," I said, "y'all can't have a romance novel without naughty pirates."
"Interesting," he said. "Off-white enough."
Cats swarmed around my ankles devouring the kibble. Kyle was the new farm hand I'd heard about. Mr. Hargrove mentioned hiring him, but I hadn't seen him before today. He looked a little similar Alcide from True Blood. Part of me hoped he wasn't a werewolf. Part of me hoped he was.
"Well my work here is done," I said, looking at the kibble. "I think these cats are sufficiently fed."
Kyle took a step toward me, and the hairs on the dorsum of my artillery stood up. "Practice you have to become?" he asked.
The MAC store was already open, and I wanted to get in that location presently, but Kyle sure looked good in those jeans. I decided that A Novel Romance would have to wait.

Second, the whole idea just makes me smile. It's cheesy, only still feminine and pretty. I mean, I get information technology, even though it's been years since I've read a romance novel.
What we have here is very seductive makeup, only there's also a softness to it that I like, peculiarly around the eyes. There's a lot of shimmer, and cipher also difficult edged.
I may or may not have breathed a brawny sigh when I saw the new Fluidline Eye Pencils. I'm never without my pot of Blacktrack, and I love me some Fluidline in the pots, so I 'twas intrigued.
I used one of the shades yesterday, Black Brilliance, the basic black. It's a pencil gel liner, which a lot of brands have, but these pencils take a very fine point. Finer than usual for products like these, and I recall it makes them swell for getting liner down between each lash at the base…because it seems like I spend half my day trying to go eyeliner between the roots of my lashes.
They're highly pigmented and glide along the skin, but if you desire to smudge them at all, you have to piece of work quickly, because once they set up, they don't move. I wore Black Brilliance on my lash and h2o lines yesterday and had it on for virtually six hours earlier removing it, and it looked great the whole fourth dimension…on my upper water lines and lash lines, that is.
It was a unlike story on my lower water lines. The color was notwithstanding intense, only the coverage had broken upwardly in places.
I will say that the formula didn't irritate my optics, though, which is something….
Regarding the Electric Cool Eyeshadows in the release, maybe it'due south because I'chiliad coming off a Chanel New Moon high, but I'm very excited about these. They have the same spongey, soft texture equally the Chanel Illusion D'Ombres, which I dearest.
I'll be taking a closer look at them a little afterward, only for now, I see a lot of potential for quick eye looks using simply a finger and ane of these pots.
As for paws/claws, I'thousand still in summer nail manner, so I'yard thinking brights, brights, brights! Fun, fun, fun! So at first I didn't accept any involvement in the six Studio Nail Lacquers in the collection ($12 U.S./$fourteen CAD) because they seemed kind of dark and dreary.
Or and so I thought. They may look a picayune dull in their bottles, simply they definitely look much brighter on my nails.
Not like neon bright or anything, merely livelier.
Earlier Dawn, the green shade, is the one that moves me the nigh. Information technology has elements of that baby poo polish Chanel did a few years agone for fall (Khaki Vert), but I retrieve information technology'southward prettier than that shade because information technology has a slight pearl, so it'south not completely flat. It has more dimension.
I see it being my pedi smoothen this fall, and you know what goes well with green, don't you lot?

OK, more similar a hot fuchsia. Skillful Kisser is one of the six Lipsticks ($sixteen U.Due south./$18 CAD) in the release, but when you get to the counter, you're but going to encounter five of them. Yield to Beloved, the rosy shade, is an online exclusive.
Good Kisser — I love that proper name. The color reminds me of MAC Impassioned, except slightly bluer.
So, for the eye quads, there are three of them ($40 U.South./$48 CAD), and while none of them really make me want to tear off my corset, I'chiliad still turned on by the color combinations. These are the kinds of palettes I like to utilise for smokey optics because the colors lend themselves easily to gradients; the steps between the shades in each quad aren't that farthermost. The violet and pink tones in the A Passionate Quest Quad, for instance, are more like first cousins than 3rd cousins twice removed.
I notice that the colors in the quads generally lean neutral and cool, as well. Not a lot of warmth there, merely I supposed that's not a big surprise, considering that they're part of a autumn collection.
In all of these face pics I'k wearing An Amorous Adventure (more than pics and posts to follow, BTW) and used it to do a sort of hazy, golden plummy dark-brown eye look.
I was going to use A Novel Romance for my showtime foray into these new quads to experiment with Rising Passions, the khaki color (because khaki and I are like this), only I decided to save that one for later.
Same goes for A Passionate Quest, the third quad, which is all about purple. I accept to exist conscientious sometimes with purples considering some make my left eye water (just the left eye; it's the weirdest thing), so I'm going to see what I can practise with that quad in an upcoming post.
